We want to make sure you have peace of mind before committing to any project. Here are a handful of questions to get you off to the right start before taking up one or more of our web and video services.

01

What do you mean by SEO and ‘optimized’?

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a term used to on popular search engines like Google. These search engines scour the web to match the keywords and phrases users enter into a search bar. The more ‘optimized’ the content, the higher you appear in search results.

For example let’s say Billy, a diving instructor in San Diego. Billy has his website, billysdivingschool.com. His competitor Megan has her own website sandiegodivingclasses.com. Megan also has several videos and blog articles on her website related to her services. Sarah, a potential client, Googles ‘Diving Classes San Diego’. Based on Sarah’s query, which service do you thing she’ll go with? (Hint: not Billy).

02

How much do these web and video services cost?

“It Depends” – We understand the convenience of a fixed price for each of our web and video services. Every project is different and there are a lot of factors when it comes to producing the perfect product.

We like to think of this like car buying: You need a car, know your budget, even the make/model you want. But what about the other factors? You may have a Ferrari budget but would you buy one with no garage living in a tough neighborhood? If your commute is 40 miles both ways then a hybrid might be a better choice than a gas-guzzler.

This is why we say “It depends”; we want to make sure your project is custom tailored to you and your business. A local coffee shop may not need a bunch of special effects in their video. Likewise an accounting firm might want to include e-commerce on their website. We want to make sure you’re satisfied with your project and our pricing reflects what’s needed to reach it.

03

I already have a video and website I don’t like. Can you fix it?

We are more than happy to look into past projects that left you unsatisfied. That said a general rule of thumb is the more raw content you are able to provide us the better. It may be a challenge to work on a finished product versus having all the original content at our disposal. We may not be magicians but we are enthusiastic about making sure your project shines, even if we didn’t make it!

04

How long does a video/photo shoot last?

A typical shoot day may last anywhere between 4-6 hours. We like to have ample time to ensure everything is ready before the cameras begin to roll. We know the unpredictability of a typical business day and want to do as little imposing as possible. We structure our video shoots to reduce distractions and value your time as a business owner.

05

How long does it take to create a website?

There are a lot of different directions we can take when developing a website. A simple 3-pager can finished in a matter of a days. A fully-functional e-commerce site might take a couple months. Deadlines are important to us and we want to make sure all expectations have been made once we deliver the final product.
