Frequently Asked Questions

We want to make sure you have peace of mind before committing to any project. Here are a handful of questions to get you off to the right start before taking up one or more of our services.

01

What do you mean by SEO and ‘optimized’?

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a term used to ensure your content gets a high ranking on popular search engines like Google, Yahoo!, and Bing. These search engines scour the web to match the keywords and phrases users enter into a search bar.

For example let’s say Billy, a diving instructor in San Diego, has a website billysdivingschool.com and his competitor, Megan, has her own website www.sandiegodivingclasses.com . Megan also has several Youtube Videos and blog articles on her website with references to her services. Sarah, a potential client, Googles ‘Diving Classes San Diego’. Based on Sarah’s query, which service do you thing she’ll go with? (Hint: not Billy).

02

How much do these services cost?

“It Depends” – We understand the convenience of a fixed price for each of our services and we want to take in your budget into serious consideration before we begin any project. Every project is different and there are a lot of variables when it comes to producing the perfect project that suits your needs.

We like to think of it in terms of cars: You need a car, know your budget, even the make/model you want. But what about the other factors? You may have a Ferrari budget but would you buy one with no garage living in a tough neighborhood? If your commute is 40 miles both ways then a hybrid might be a better choice than a gas-guzzler.

This is why we say “It depends”; we want to make sure your project is custom tailored to you and your business. A local coffee shop may not need a bunch of special effects in their video, likewise an accounting firm might want to include user accounts on their website. At the end of the day we want to make sure you are satisfied with your project and we base our pricing model at competitive rates.

03

I already have a video and website I don’t like. Can you fix it?

We are more than happy to look into past projects from other services you have tried out that left you unsatisfied. That said a general rule of thumb is the more raw content you are able to provide us the better. It may be a challenge to work on a finished product versus having all of the original content at our disposal. We may not be magicians but we are enthusiastic about making sure you are satisfied with your finished product, even if we didn’t make it!

04

How long does a video/photo shoot last?

A typical shoot day may last anywhere between 4-6 hours. We like to have ample time to ensure everything is ready before the cameras begin to roll. We understand the unpredictable variables that come with a typical business day and want to do as little imposing as possible. We structure our video shoots to minimize on distractions and place great value on your time as a business owner.

05

How long does it take to create a website?

To mimic the “It depends” model we mentioned before, there are a lot of different directions we can take when developing a website. A simple 3-pager can be done in a matter of a few weeks while a fully-functional e-commerce site might take a couple months. Deadlines are important to use and we want to make sure all expectations have been made once we deliver the final product to you.
